Beth has been a member of Florida Bar since 2001 with experience in practicing in civil and commercial litigation in both federal and state court.
Attorney Beth Clause is a true Floridian; she was both born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. At a young age, Beth’s parents taught her the benefits of working hard. Beth is not shy from hands-on work and recalls working with her dad waxing and sanding fiberglass molds to build boats and swimming pools.
Beth was in a near-death car accident at the age of 17 and sustained very serious physical injuries as a result. After a long recovery, at the age of 18, without legal representation, she received and accepted a settlement check from an insurance company that was not enough to cover all her medical expenses. This opened Beth’s eyes as to how important it is for injured people to obtain legal representation so that they are not taken advantage of by big insurance companies. Soon thereafter Beth started college to receive her paralegal degree and her love for the law was born. After receiving her paralegal degree and working as a paralegal for over seven years, Beth decided to go to law school and attended Stetson University and Stetson College of Law where she graduated in 2000 with her MBA and JD.
Because of Beth’s humble beginnings, her first priority is to be an advocate for those that need her legal expertise and to understand that her job is never judge people, just to look and gather the facts and find a solution. Beth has helped many of her clients through some of the most chaotic situations in their lives. She has committed herself to helping her clients through the process and finds it rewarding when clients find the calm and peace that was missing when they first walked into her office.
Beth is an animal lover who enjoys spending time with her dogs, traveling, scuba diving, playing chess and is thankful for the blessings in her life.
